For care, rinse in cool water after swimming to clear chlorine or salt before it sits in the fabric, and let the suit air dry away from direct sunlight — the combination of heat and UV is what fades color and weakens elastic fastest. Rotating between two suits rather than wearing one daily also extends its life noticeably.
